1. Information we collect in the app
We collect the information you provide when creating an account: your name, email address and phone number, together with the user ID we assign to you. If you allow notifications, we store your device push token. If you allow location access, we use your precise or approximate location while the app is in use to show nearby listings. We store the photos and videos you upload and the content you create on Leen: listings, messages, posts, reviews and reports. Payment information is handled by Stripe; Leen never sees your card number. We keep a record of your rentals.
2. The waitlist on this website
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, whether you want to rent, lend or both, the neighborhood you choose, and the IP address the request came from, which we use to limit abuse. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is submitting it; Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers that check. We use waitlist details only to tell you about Leen's launch, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
3. How we use your information
Your information is used to operate the platform, process rental payments, send you notifications about your rentals and messages, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Information sharing
We share limited information with other users as needed to facilitate rentals (for example your name, profile photo, reviews and approximate location). Payment information is shared with Stripe, our payment processor, and your data is stored with the service providers that host the platform.
5. Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
You can update your personal information in the app. You can delete your account in the app from Profile, then Delete account; this permanently removes your account, listings, rentals, reviews and messages. You may also email support@leenapp.tech to request a copy of your data, to remove your waitlist details, or to make any other data request.
7. Cookies and analytics
The Leen app includes no analytics or advertising SDKs. This website may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites. If you switch between light and dark mode on this website, your browser stores that choice locally; it is never sent to us. The film on the homepage is hosted on YouTube: nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and after that YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the player.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
