About Leen

Leen is a peer-to-peer rental app for New York City, built by Automata Labs Inc. Neighbors list the things they own, and people nearby rent them by the hour, day, week or month.

Why New York

Apartments here are small and expensive, so the ladder you use twice a year takes up space you pay for. The upside is density: whatever you need this weekend is probably sitting unused a few floors up.

How a rental works

You request dates and see the total first. Your card is charged through Stripe only when the lender accepts. You plan the pickup in the chat, either of you can add condition photos at pickup and return, and you both leave reviews.

Where we're starting

Leen launches in Lower Manhattan, starting in Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village. Renting is most useful at walking distance, so we're building depth in two neighborhoods before adding more.
